Happy Birthday from your Sweetheart ~

Happy Birthday Love!!! I wanted to tell you my favorite time with you or memory…but there isn't just one I could fairly choose without all the other ones not getting picked..so I've decided to call them "Highlights"… you ready

* Seattle.. we were both sooo sick, actually sick with PNEUMONIA, hello!! But we were troopers. We were there for the soccer championship and we WERE going to have a great time no matter what. Our first place to visit - the library. Google said to walk two miles and then hang a left..we did and we did a good job. But Google's library and our library weren't the same library…but the Bookmobile was a great sight, wasn't it?…all parked on the curb just waiting for us to climb inside and check out its inventory. Maybe some day we will make it back to Seattle and we WILL find that library that is huge and beautiful, just like the locals said!!

*Moving to our "first" house..having you and our kids together was magically delicious! Unpacking the boxes, making our house a home, moving furniture around…or should I say dropping tables on toes and breaking them? Oh yes that was a memory.

*Christmas with our kids and families..New Years on the couch watching Zombie movies all day. Yep…so romantical :)

*Easter..and all the fresh starts that come with spring. We decided to get married and get married we did. It wasn't a huge fiesta with ALL our family and friends surrounding us..it was our quiet commitment to each other and to our children that you and I, and our kids needed. We chose to come home with our kids and not take off on a honeymoon. Being with you and our children is so valuable to me.. I love how we are on the same page and we realize that us together with our kids is more important than being apart, doing our own thing…golf, shopping, friends whatever. Together we are awesome and our kids will continue to be happy and healthy because of our love for each other and our love for them.

*Our little Reese came in May, she didn't want to wait for June. It was such a calm day. Just 5 hours after checking into the hospital our little angel was with us. And then we had Cafe Rio salad. Yep it happened just like that… it was so fun to just be like, "oh honey look at our, baby! She's beautiful!" and then say "how delicious does that salad look?" I know its weird, but seriously its what happened huh? We just totally hung out with our baby that came so crazy and so unexpectedly into our lives… But babe I'd go through the last year again, with everything we dealt with, if it meant we would be where we are right now… together.

You are a wonderful person. You know when you walk into a room and you can just tell the TV is on, even though its making no noise..you can just feel the energy from it? That's what you do… you bring energy into a room and into our lives. You are a good man..You've been a good man and You will continue on to being a great man. You love our children with all your heart and there isn't anything you wouldn't do to help them or to make them happy. The way you love them is beautiful to me and it has me so in love with you. The deepest, warmest love I've ever felt.

Our marriage "is more precious than rubies" to me… there will never be anything or anyone that could change that. When we're all old and wrinkly, may I die one day before you…I wouldn't make it on this earth without you to laugh and to love with. You're my "Huckleberry"…

Thank you for all you do for everyone in your life… you know you love them and YOU should know they love you!!! We ALL hope you have a wonderful, awesome day…but especially, please know the love that everyone has for YOU!!!

Your forever AND then some, loving wife ~

P.S. I hope you know I think that you are soooo HOT!!! I love YOU with all the guts I still have!!!

Happy Birthday from Jaxman ~

I wanted to tell you my favorite memory of you and me… it was the first time I ever met you. You came to Bear Lake to meet me. You brought me a football that I still have and we still play catch with it. I remember you played with us for a very long time. You would stand at the end of the cabin and we would run to the ditch and you would throw the ball. It was challenging to try and catch but it was so fun. You played all afternoon with us it seemed. Griffy, Dallin, Davis and me.. I always like how you play with us.

Thank you for always playing with me. And our weekend that was just us was so fun. We did everything just you and me. NO GIRLS!!! I love you and our family a lot.

Happy Birthday!!!

Happy Birthday from Gracie Girl and Reesey ~

Happy Birthday Daddy!! This letter is from Reese and myself… I will speak for Reese cause she doesn't do much yet.

We wanted you to know that you are the silliest Dad ever. Even when we don't want to smile and laugh, you still can get us to. I like it when you hang me upside down and say "just hang out"… and Reese likes it when you just look at her and pull those goofy faces you do… but she's just little so she doesn't know any better yet.

Daddy we like it when we are sad and you hold us… I like to sit on your lap and have you whisper "its okay" in my ear until I feel better. Reese likes it when you hold her in the crook of your elbow and say "Reesey Piecey..don't be sad, dads here." You are the strongest dad and we are the safest when we are with you.

We like it when we already know you are tired but we still want to play and you let us crawl all over you. This is mostly just my favorite.. Reese will crawl all over you someday too.. I just hope I'll get over it by then. But when I crawl on you and you tickle me until I giggle so hard I don't make any sound, thats my favorite. You are the funnest and most playful dad EVER!!

For your birthday we wish you a happy day ~ We know there are a lot of dads out there, but we also know that YOU are the best dad!!!

WE LOVE YOU WITH ALL OUR LITTLE HEARTS HAVE ~

Happy Birthday from Nick ~

Christopher!

Happy birthday! I just have to say thank you for all the help you have given me, and for all the good times we have had throughout the years. I always know anytime we have a family event we could spend the entire time talking about... well, anything! And we would have a great time doing it! Chris is always willing to help whenever I have a technical question and has never let me down!
Hope your Birthday is a happy one!

Have a great day,
Love Nick

Happy Birthday from Klair ~

I guess I’ve officially known you a year now, which is plenty of time to decide if you are good enough for my sister & nephew. Lucky for you, I came to the conclusion right about the same day I met you. Right away I could tell you were a great guy & that you had serious potential to be a perfect match for my sis. I have watched over the past year as you have made her a very happy girl. You are her best friend in every sense of the word & she is a brand new person with a wonderful outlook on life. I believe she has done the same for you. She lives each day knowing what being happy is really about. She loves you to the moon & back. And not just you, but Miss Sassy Gracie Girl who she loves as her own because Gracie is you. You have helped J know what it is like to be part of a true family. One that is safe, secure & somewhere he wants to be because he knows he is loved. You have given so much & brought so much to the lives of two people I love very much & for that I am so thankful. You have also given us Gracie & Reese, two little girls that are loved like crazy by all.

I want to tell you how much you mean to me. Not only for what you have done for Karli & J, but because I think of you as a great friend. You are kind, considerate, funny & a good time. I always wanted an older brother to go with my two younger brothers. You are awesome with my boys & they think you are the bomb-diggity! Thank you for caring about them & myself. I appreciate the fact that our lives are important to you. Thank you for wanting to be a part of our family.

Hope you have a wonderful birthday Chris! I love you!

Your favorite older sister,

Klair

Happy Birthday from Katie ~

I don't have one single memory. Mine are a bunch of small memories that span over years. It all started with my birthday parties at Pinocchio’s. It was a place similar to Chuck-E-Cheese. We would have all of our birthday parties there and Chris and Brian were always there. We would have so much fun playing the games and singing on the stage with staff when it was time to do the birthday song.

I also remember all the times that we used to sleep over at Grandma and Grandpa's. We would play crazy 8's for hours on end. Usually I would play dress up while Chris and Bryan would play star-wars or something. Sometimes we'd watch movies (the Ewoks was a favorite). Then in the morning, Grandma would make us pancakes and poached eggs and would watch Saturday morning cartoons. If we weren't watching those then we were probably playing Frogger on the Atari.

I would also go up with Grandma to baby-sit Abby, Madi, and Sarah when they lived in Layton. If Chris was around (which he usually was) we would play Nintendo. Most of the time though he would have friends over so I only got to watch them play. It was still fun though cause I got to see and learn some secrets on the craze of the time and babysit my cousins, which I loved to do.

So, like I said, these are very small memories, but memories none the less.

Katie ~
